Alpine Frost Soap
A beautiful landscape of a winter scene while you bathe in the wonderful aroma of alpine frost!
The fragrance smells very fresh like this: Fresh breezes, orchid and Ylang dance on top of cypress trees, frosted woods, Oakmoss, and fresh spices. Reminiscent of a walk in the woods on a snowy December day. By Wholesale Supplies Plus
At Swan Soap and Such, we strive to bring you quality soaps, handcrafted with artisan care and a love for soaping.
We hope you enjoy our soaps as much as we enjoy making them!
The many of our soaps are made using the cold process method, which entails combining and mixing various oils (such as Coconut, Olive, or Avocado oils) with Sodium Hydroxide (Lye). As a result, the composition of the oils changes through a chemical process known as saponification, after which, soap is formed.
*Please note when purchasing that these are handmade soaps, which means that they are NOT perfect. Rarely are two bars identical in appearance (though it sometimes happens!), and they are subject to flaws, but this, in part, is what gives handcrafted soaps a special, quaint charm.
Care for handcrafted soap differs from the care required for conventional, store-brand bars. Here are some tips to help preserve your soap so that it will last longer: – It is important to store your soap in a dry area where it is able to breathe. (Hangable soap savers with ventilated fabrics, loofah soap savers, and drain-style soap dishes are good choices.) – Do not leave your soap sitting or hanging in the shower. – Never allow your soap to sit in water longer than what is necessary to wash, shower or bathe. The reason is the soap has qualities to draw moisture to itself and soften. So keep dry in between uses and you'll have a long lasting bar of handmade soap!
Blessings to all!
