This is layered with herbal undertones like lavender, a signature note in old-school colognes, which adds a clean, comforting element. There’s also usually a hint of powder, reminiscent of the talc barbers would use, giving it a soft, velvety edge. Finally, grounding it all is a base of woody and earthy scents, often featuring sandalwood, cedar, and musk. The result is a refined, masculine, and timeless scent.
